DeeDee for defence and dual use

Build the capability. Reuse the secure foundation.

Move from prototype to production with DeeDee Application Platform. Reuse a hardened operating system, maintained platform services and supporting security evidence, so more capacity goes into the capabilities your customers need.

Defence-level security out of the box

Deny by default. Allow by choice. Enable the services, connections and permissions your application needs; everything else stays disabled by default.

DeeDee's foundation has the same security design DNA as security-critical systems that passed technical evaluation by the Swedish national defence.

From development to customer delivery

Use a maintained foundation for server, edge and embedded software across development, testing and customer delivery. Choose Integrated components for identity, web services, databases, networking and security monitoring rather than repeating that platform work for every system.

DeeDee can be deployed in the cloud, on-premises, embedded or in air-gapped environments. DeeDee Application Platform has no phone-home functionality and collects no telemetry from customer environments.

Prepare evidence for demanding buyers

For deliveries to the Swedish Armed Forces, FMV, NATO/NCIA, European defence customers or prime contractors, agree the evidence needs around the intended product and environment. Requirements-mapping packages are under development, prioritised with development customers.

Relevant mapping targets include KSF and the Swedish ISD process, NATO security requirements, ISO/IEC 27001 controls and EUCC product-evaluation needs, informed by relevant ENISA guidance. For dual use, CRA, NIS2, CER and more are considered where applicable to the product and organisation.

Visar supplies evidence within the agreed scope. The responsible organisation determines information classification and protection needs. The application, additional components and operating environment remain part of the complete system assessment, with certification and accreditation decisions made by the relevant bodies.

Start with a defined delivery

Bring the intended customer, deployment environment and review requirements. Together, we select the platform components and define evaluation and evidence goals for your delivery.
